In this guide we're going to take a look at how easy it is to use the Xploder Cheat System Pro. I'm going to take you through the following: Linking your PC to your PlayStation 2 Finding and downloading cheats from Xploder online to your PC Transfering the cheats to your PlayStation 2 Choosing and enabling the cheats on PlayStation 2 And playing the game with cheats enabled So let's get cracking...

The contents, from left to right are: Xploder case, instructions, PS2 software, PC software, M-code card and XLink cable.

One of these disks is to install the XLink software on your PC, the other contains the Xploder software for your PlayStation 2. The first thing you need to do is go ahead an install the XLink software on your PC following the instructions in the manual. It's a simple process and you'll be helped via onscreen information.

Once the software has been installed on your PC it's time to connect the cable between your PlayStation 2 and PC. Connect these cables to your USB sockets on the console and computer.

Your PC will most likely detect that new hardware has been installed and ask you to install drivers. Follow the instructions via the Install New Hardware wizard in Windows and locate the drivers Firelink Drivers folder on the CD. If the USB connection isn't auto-detected you can manually install the drivers via the Add Hardware option in the Windows control panel.

With all the software now ready, we can crack on with playing a game with cheats. So pop the Xploder disk into your PlayStation 2 and fire it up.

After choosing your language within the Xploder software you'll reach this main menu. Let's leave the Xploder software on this screen, it's important you do so when using the XLink system.

Okay let's go back to the PC and fire up the XLink software. The first time you use the program you'll be asked to register. You input an email address, password and the M-Code from the card supplied with the Xploder Cheat System Pro.
